New album - Convo now available!

The Bellegarde-Schulrabe-Plante Trio brings an interesting blend of jazz and world music (India, South America, & North Africa) influences. The three creative accomplices offer an organic and heartfelt music that is intended to touch the very core of its listeners. Their debut album, "Convo" is now available on bandcamp and all streaming services. 

The Band

Energetic player, composer and Grand Jazz Award winner at the Montreal Jazz Festival, 26th ed, Alex Bellegarde creates music drawn from a wealth of sources. He heads a number of formations and participates in a range of projects: jazz, Latin music and multidisciplinary. With several albums to his credit: Floating, Caminando, Quintet et Quartet "Live", One Fine Saturday he is also a guest contributor to a wide array of other artists' recordings.

Bertil Schulrabe is a drums and percusion professional with more than 20 years of experience in his field. A sought-after versatile musician, he collaborated with many artists, such as Nanette Workman, I Musici, Jean-Pierre Zanella, to name a few. He is what some call an eternal student, still attending sessions with tabla legend Partha Sarathi Mukherjee.

Recently back from a 10-year Las Vegas stint as musical director, musician, producer and Ableton programmer for Cirque du Soleil's "R.U.N" and "O" productions, saxophonist Eric Plante also recently collaborated with French artist Zaz and jazz star Harry Connick Jr., amongst many others. Eric is very excited and motivated, writing and producing for multiple projects in and around the Montreal area.
